Introduction
Canva is a free online graphic design platform that allows you to create a variety of designs for both online and offline use from social media posts to business cards.
I have been accepted into the Canva Creators (previously Canva Contributors) program and have been trying it out for the last year or so. I wanted to experiment with other ways of bringing art into ANS’ existing portfolio… Thus, I started uploading a few things on Canva and slowly started to build collections of images related to what ANS is all about: Runes, Crystal Healing, Spirit Animals and Herbal Lore.
Some of the images have grown into substantial informal collections (I am looking at how to make them into more formal image collections) and I would like to share what is already available. I started creating images for my other projects anyway since I cannot find suitable images that I like for the topics surrounding spirituality, metaphysics, magic and related themes – so I’ve decided to do this more formally via Canva!
It is a bit of a slow process, because life only allows me so much time to create the elements and approval can be quite delayed at times (like one batch took 3 months to get approved because of the Easter backlog!). But now I know what to expect timeline wise. I’m simply going to create and upload as I go with the aim of providing high quality images that are preferably editable within the Canva software. I have a vision in mind that I am working towards, which also includes me upskilling my art techniques and software skills 😉.
I will be sharing some new collection as I go al the while I am also working on some other long-term projects as well!

Crystals, Crystal Healing & Gemstones
I have been having some fun with all kinds of crystal colours, shapes and edible elements. The watercolour or pattern-filled ones are use as is, but Canva has all kinds of cool filters and things for you to recolour or add shadows to them to suit your needs.
There are a couple of vector based ones in here, which have set blocks of colour that you can customise (along with the Canva filters):
Herbs, Flora & Herbology
The floral elements are mostly doodle line art style for that whimsical look. They are all vectors and can be recolored.
