Another new deck coming your way! This time round I have created my first Easter Themed Deck! I have spent a couple of weeks creating this deck. I have split it into two functional decks, each using the 12 Easter Eggs featured in the picture above.
About The Game Deck & Gift Set
Both are standard poker sized decks. The larger one at 72 cards is a Easter Eggs Snap Card Game with 6 copies of each of the 12 Easter Eggs. The other has one card for each design for you to use for your arts, crafts and gifting!
The Card Creation Process
I found these beautiful Easter Eggs on the internet and decided to incorporate them into a card design. I am not in the habit of designing holiday themed products as I am not quite sure what to do to make my designs unique. These Easter Eggs were so pretty that I had to do *something* with them and I been on the lookout for design sets to make snap card decks with – these were ideal.
After cleaning them up, I added the related Easter Holiday words and then made the gradient backgrounds created from colours from the individual Easter Eggs.
It is such a lovely consistent set that it occurred to me that you can do far more with these than simply a set of snap cards. You can grab a punch and put some holes in the corner of the cards to use as gift tags or even ornaments. They would also make great ‘Thank You’ gifts for your guests!
As usual, I made a few prototypes in MakePlayingCards’ deck creator to ensure proper alignment and spacing of the pictures and words. I also wanted to cater to gifting budgets with regards to the overall price.
