Tips on Working with Crystals:

My first free crystal lore oracle card! Pearls are natural wonders and it takes many years and mollusc generations to produce a single string. Thus their history is rich with the symbolism of royalty and healing. I have here a printable (customise to any size you like) information sheet regarding the wonderful little natural occurrence known as Pearls. The information sheet contains their minerology (chemical constituents), colours they occur as in nature as well as some authentication tests. I explain how they are formed and how long it takes for a sizable pearl to come into existence. Pearls originate from water-bound creatures and thus are firmly nestled within the watery realm of emotion and metaphysically they assist with emotional healing, especially when combined with shells or orange stones that resonate with the sacral chakra.

Tip: A quick test for authentication of a real pearl is to rub it against your front teeth, a grating feeling means its real. Also natural pearl have an iridescence in sunlight and should display several colours along with the main one.
